Melissa Lehnert studied Pharmacy from 2017 to 2022 at Freiburg University. Meanwhile, she spent two terms abroad at McGill University, Montréal. She completed the first half of her practical training at the Fontane Apotheke in Freiburg, the second half at Sanofi, Cologne (Formulation Development of Consumer Health Products), then prolonged her practical year working at Pfizer, Berlin (Drug Safety and Medical Inflammation & Immunology).

After receiving her pharmaceutical license in autumn 2023, she started her PhD in the group of Prof. Dr. Heiko Heerklotz focusing on multicomponent surfactant systems.
